Nature of Life

The world is totally not what it seems to be.

Things that we expect to have life, sometimes are more dead than things we don't expect to have life.

Life is the elusive 'Holy Spirit' in the Bible.  It's the maker of things.  It's the changer, and the shape-shifter.  It's the hidden God doing Computations at the Edge of Chaos.

It's what makes us realize things.  You could be conversing with your mother, your teacher, your spiritual leader for years and not realize a thing.  Then, you could be looking at a tree, and suddenly get the deepest realizations in the world.  Witness Buddha.

Where is life hidden?  How does it express itself?

It lives inside the fabric of things, inside the fabric of reality.  It's not to be found, but only realized.

Unity

We've all heard the story; the calling.  To feel like you are one with everything.  To feel like your self has no boundaries, like you lose yourself in the wholeness of the universe.

The beauty, the unity, the expansion.

That unity contains, well, everything.  It contains you, me, the tree, the earth, the universe.  It even contains the person that has not realized it yet.  And that's where the magic is.  Somewhere in the depths of the infinite fabric of the universe, that person knows.  He senses that unity.  That unity cannot exist without him.  We're all in it together.

My realization is your realization.  The whole world moves in unison.  It just can't be any other way.

And so it begins....  With one person lighting the spark.

Life

Life is a very strange thing..

Only when one comes to the end of it, one realizes how important it is.

What is life, anyway? Who has the right to define it?

Give and take

Ask and you shall receive.
Take and you shall receive nothing.

You just don't know

You just don't know when is the last time you'll be able to get out of bed, or the last time you'll be able to take a visit to your favorite spot.

Life is so full of uncertainties that, you just don't know.

Which is the last day of your life?

Cherish every day like it is the last one.

Straddling worlds

All of us straddle many worlds: Many are born is places that are the meeting places of two (or more) cultures. Many of live do not live where we were born. All of us live in our parent's world: Our mother's world, and our father's world.

Where do we belong? How can we find our path in life? How do we make sense of where we've been, where we come from?

We need to sort our past, in order to not walk aimlessly, lost, trying to figure out our environment, while believing we belong there.

We need to own our past, our ourselves. Only then we can carve the path in our future.

Responsibility

Take responsibility for your own actions.

Do what you want to do, not what you have to do.

Someone once told me: "If you don't make your own decisions, someone else is going to make them for you". Do you want your life, and your soul, be controlled this way?

Is it worth it?

Is it right?

Judge your actions on a daily and constant basis, and seek the direction that comes from within.

Do not be afraid to take responsibility of your own actions. Do what feels right. This is the way to unify body and soul.
