Time to let go

When you're tired, and you are fed up of having yourself cater to all the whims of your ego, just remember...

Let God take care.. Let your selfish desires be satisfied by God's grace, sit back and enjoy the show.

Focus

It's easy to be distracted by looking sideways trying to be someone
you are not. Try looking upwards to reinvent yourself.

Focus the intention to become something you, deep inside, already know
exists.

Wish

In the noise and busy-ness of today's society we often find ourselves
wanting to escape looking for something higher than what it can offer.

It is good, however, once in a while to stop and realize that the
something higher that we desire is actually dwelling inside us, and we
don't need to look for it in any society I'd anything else external.

Although we feel that we need to escape, or take a break, the solution
is inside us.

In the spirit of the holiday season and the New Year, let us wish that
our soul finds the internal peace that it is looking for.

God bless.

Presence

Yesterday Jesus said at the Temple of the Holy Cross: "I am always
with you, especially when you need me, I am with you".

Later on, I realized that this was not a promise, but a fact.

The binding energy that keeps us together, that keeps us from falling
apart is his abode. That's where we'll find him; always. We don't
have to ask for his presence, he is there already. His message was
merely a reminder...

Peace...

Guardian Angel

Ask your guardian angel

not to protect you, but to empower you.
Not to guide you, but to bless you.

Forget about the old stereotypes!
The New Age has began!

Clingy

Please don't be clingy in love.

Being clingy limits love. It does not allow it to live its full purpose, and expand.

Let your self, and your love grow to the max.

Ask your ego:

"What's your backup plan?"

Believing

Believing in yourself is one of the biggest presents you can even make to yourself.

Finding ourselves

When we are born, we are born as a combination of the genes of our parents. Then we grow up, and we continuously interact with our family, our friends, school. We always get external input about how to act, about what is wrong and what is right, about what is expected of us. We are not separate from the world around us.

Yet all this time the ego is fighting for individuality.

When are we going to stop being slaves of our senses?
When are we going to let the wings of our selves carry us to our destiny?
When are we going to let the petals of our third eye point the right direction?
When are we going to stop fighting, and acknowledge our true nature?

Let our real self shine, and show us the way.
Let our own Easter resurrect our Soul.

non-confidence

Why lack of confidence is not logical:

Q: Are you confident about yourself?
A: No, I don't feel confident.
Q: Do you feel confident about that?

A1: Yes, I do
- which means that you feel confident about something. You can use that as a motivation for yourself to bring up your confidence.

A2: No, I don't.
- which means that there are times where you could feel confident about yourself.

Positive reinforcement is everywhere. You just have to open your eyes, pay attention to it, and expand your awareness.

Presence

"Be there for them", he said.
"But what can I do there for them?", I said.

"It doesn't matter. Just be there. That's what people need. They just need someone to be there for them. They need support, they need someone who will be there for them to open their heart when they need to. Don't bother yourself with what you need to do. That will come".

Moving Forward

Work with an open heart.
Commit yourself to God.

And success will come.

Slavery

Maybe we've been victims of our own dreams.
Technology, engineering, mental desire for completion.
We work towards the perfection of our dreams, for the good of the world.

But we forget..
We become what we dream ourselves to be.
We realize our mind's creations.
We work, and we become slaves of own dreams.

As the saying goes:
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us."

So, we fear ourselves, and we become slaves of our own fears. And we work, and work harder, and harder. But our power that is hidden within us gets us what we want: More hard work.

When will we become free?
When will we free our minds to dream without becoming slaves or our own creations?

Let the new age being.
Let us learn from our own creations what it means to be free.
To sense and feel what it means to wake up every morning in a new life, a new beginning.

Reincarnation, or not?

I'm going to try to take the previous post a little bit further.

"everything that you can possible imagine... and more". This applies to everyboday. Everything everybody can possibly imagine, all together, all real at the same time, and more.

Everything that you can possibly think of, I repeat. Everything a Christian can think of, everything a Buddhist can think of, everything a Muslim can think of. it's true, together. And more.

Do you want to believe in the existance of One God? Great, he or she WILL be there.
Do you want to believe in the existance of many gods? Wonderful, they will all be there.
Do you want to believe in reincarnation? Great, you'll have it.
Do you want to not believe in reincarnation? Great, again, it's possible.

Why fight? Why argue? Why have religious wars?

Isn't religion all about love and expansion? About getting what your soul wants? About what your neighbor's soul wants?
Just remember: If you want are willing to direct a soul towards a particular ideal, you are sharing responsibility for that soul. And remember they have an equal right to everything that they can possibly imagine as you do.

Your heaven is your heaven. And more..

Walk in Peace.
Dream in Peace.
Live in Peace.

All you want ... and more

Someone told me a while back that he heard the following: "The Universe is everything that you can possibly imagine ... and more." Not only everything that you can possibly dream of, even in your wildest dreams, but even more!

So unthinkable and limitless...
So benevolent and giving...
But even more...

Imagine all the dreams that everybody can ever have during their lifetimes. All humans, all animals. Put all of them together, then more.... Can be the reality of the Universe.

Imagine the boundless energy that created all this.

Imagine the endless giving that love that is willing to give you all.. and more!

..but..

what if it's not the case? What if the Universe it not as giving and benevolent? Would that thought even exist then? That thought of endless creation and limitless love, would it ever exist? What if you never in your wildest dreams could've ever thought of that, and then someone comes along and tells you? Isn't that part of the "and more"?

Everyday we live, we grow older and wiser. We learn something different, we experience something new. That ever-expansion of our thoughts is what the sentence means. It's the ever existing human will to live and expand, and the promise that will always be something new to learn, something to satisfy our life's desires.

We are born with that desire hardwired in us. We can follow that desire towards material goods, or towards spirituality. We can desire spiritual experiences and advancement as much as materia fulfillmentl. And there is always more.. That's where the human psyche is taking us.

Live and expand.

She is there

She is there,

between your thoughts and my thoughts,
between darkness and light,
between sun and moon.

She is there,

in the breath of the wind,
in the touch of the sun,
in the beauty of nature.

She is there,

watching,
hoping,
giving.

She is there,

watching me...
...smiling.

On duality

Oh, dear God,

what good is peace, if there is no suffering,
what good is hope, if there is no despair,
what good is life, if there is no death,
what good is love, if there is no one to love,

Oh, dear God,

how can I rest my mind
when there is suffering in the world,
how can I rest my soul
when there is despair all around me,
how can I rest my body
when there is death where I lay,
how can I rest my heart,
when there is fear all around me?

Oh, dear God,

help me understand
the presence beneath the absence,
the energy behind the silence,
the eternal peace beyold the love.

let me experience
...unity...

Past, Present and Future

After a hard day at work, it's really difficult to sit down and write anything uplifting.

But that's exactly what I was planning on writing about, and how it helps in situations like this.

It's about past, present and future. It's about past influencing the future, and how the present binds everything together.

Even more than external events, facts, or luck, current attitude is what affects the future the most. Even if something bad happens, if we feel good about ourselves, we are more likely to have a good outcome that if we feel bad about ourselves. It's not about what actually happens that is important, but how we feel about it.

Memory binds it all together, and how we act upon it. If we feel good about our past, then we are more likely to perform actions that are positive. On the contrary, if we feel bad about our past, that's going to influence our actions negatively. But here is where the magic is.. That action we just did based on our memory of the past, it's already past, and it is part of what forms our "new" future. We keep on building memories upon memories of perceptions of reality.

And they do affect our future. What we do NOW, based on our PAST, creates our FUTURE. NOW is what binds the past and the future. If we act positively, then we will remember this action, and it is more likely to affect us in the future in a positive way.

So, we have a choice: Do we want to feel bad right NOW, or do we want to feel good? Our future, and our future past depends on it.

It's NOW that the magic happens. Not 10 minutes from now, but NOW. If we don't do something good now, 10 minutes from now will be different. We can't just wait for something to happen. We have to create it inside us, and the change WILL happen.

Life is about changes. If we don't change NOW, we are not living. Life is about motion, and about learning, and caring.

Care to do anything about it?

Body as a process

Yesterday I mentioned that we can always treat pain as a teacher, to teach us a way to release ourselves from it; it's the body telling us something needs attention, and we need to find out.

Let me take it a bit further. Let's say that we hurt ourselves and that we have a little wound. One day, we take notice of the wound while sitting on the couch and, if we are attentive enough, we remember what caused the would, and hopefully we can learn something from it; we can use the wound as a teacher.

What if, the whole body is a wound? What if our higher self should stop at some point and realize what happened, and ponder that God is trying to tell us something when he gave us this body? The body is the means to tell our self how to go beyond itself. It's the karmic side-effect that will help us set ourselves free.

By noticing and being aware of the body, we are helping ourselves. The body is a temple and a process at the same time. We are in the body to heal ourselves, and to live the process through. Just think of the opportunities that arise! Just think of the God's love that is hiding >>in<< here. The body sacrifices itself, through time, to set us free. God sacrifices himself to let us get close to him.

Let's treat our body wisely, then.

There is the concept of initiation in religions. Getting baptised in the church, or getting diksha in mantra process. What if birth itself is an initiation? What if our body is the yantra of our own personal process? Contemplation on our form, and self rises out of the form (if we let our hearts open, of course).

Look around you at all the people you see every day, and consider for a moment that every single one of them is in a process similar to yours. Every single one has the undivided attention of God, through the manifestation of the body, and every single one is different, in just the right way.

Does that shift your perspective a little bit? Aren't you more likely to treat every person you meet like your brother, like a comrade stuck in the same boat you are?

God bless us all.

Pain

Pain. What IS pain, really? I am not only talking about physical pain, but the effects of pain that we feel inside.

I've made the mistake (and I'm sure lots of people) to think that pain is really torture. When we feel hurt (either physically, or emotionally), we can't stop thinking "how can I stop this?", "when is it going to be over?". At that moment, we feel so strongly the separation with the divine, and all we can ask is "oh God, HOW? WHEN?" But we are still all focused in the pain. We rarely get the courage to go outside ourselves and ask "Oh God, please help me get over this."

But we can view pain another way. It may be torture, yes, but it is also release. It is a warning. It is concentrated energy. It's the body telling us something is wrong. Sometimes we ignore it, and we keep on doing the same things that cause the pain. Sometimes we can start looking at pain as that warning sign that it is, and ask ourselves "what has caused this pain?" and try to backtrack to resolve it.

Everybody has a big heart; a huge heart in fact. A heart that is hidden behind mountains and mountains of pain. When is the time to let that heart out, let is consume the pain, and free itself? Why are we hiding our wonderful jewel behind all this dirt? We keep this jewel locked up as precious as it is, and lot letting it shine. Because the more we let it shine, the brighter it becomes, and it dismantles those mountains of pain.

Physical pain, emotion pain, they are similar. We can either choose to let the pain engulf us, or we can choose to open our hearts to it. Listen to the warnings that it represents, and face them. It's a growing experience.

As kids, we've all been put at ease from our parents when we got hurt. "Oh, where did you get hurt? Let me kiss it and it will be fine." But as grown-ups, we don't have that support anymore. We've been conditioned, though, since we were kids to _expect_ something external to heal us. We have becomes slaves of the duality of internal vs. external.

...And there is always time to reverse that. To become both the self, and the external world that protects us. It's time to "grow out of our skin", so to speak, and become something greater than ourselves. And the heart grows so effortlessly inside us, it's the only thing that can help us in those difficult times, the times of growth.

So, let our hearts lead us to expansion, to growing our experiences towards a different level. As kids we grew our body. As adults let's grow into higher dimensions, since that's the only way to help the body heal itself.

separation

It doesn't take a lot to recognize where there is a connection to the divine in someone's action. It's the feeling of awe, it's the feeling of not knowing how someone went from A to B, it's the feeling on genius behind someone's action.

We all know what it is. It is that little "something" that happens between action and inaction. That "something" that we can't place. We don't know what it is, we are grateful for it, and we don't know how to repeat.

Have you ever been in a state where you fail to make a connection, and then suddenly feel lost? You feel that separation from yourself, like you "lost your edge"?

Or you feel like you lost your "train of thought" at times?

What is it that make us keep or lose that connection? How can we get it back? What do we surrender in order to get it back? It's the give and take of action vs inaction, of thought vs action, of male vs female.

God is between every pair of opposites.
God is there where you don't know how to act, or what to think.
God is between male and female, and between female and male.
God is between order and disorder.
God is that creating force between the two opposites, that creates and fills the space between them.
God creates male and female, and connects them.

It's that separation between the opposites that brings them together. Because the perception of the opposite is done through that creating force we call God. Because God is neither male or female.

It just is ... perception ... experience ... life ...

Work/Life Balance

When it's a choice between working and spending time with family, what do you choose? Why?

When it's a choice between spending time getting tortured and pushing yourself at work, when you can spend time next to people that you love, and they love you, why do most people choose the first, instead of the latter? Why is it that we prefer pain to pleasure?

Is it fear? Fear thet we are not going to bring enough money into the family, and that we'll spend a miserable life not having the extra money, while in fact we are spending a miserable life trying to earn that money?

Is it escape? Escape from happiness thinking that we can't possibly deserve all this happiness, while we can spend time being miserable?

Or is it that we want to spend time helping people, or completing tasks that we think are going to help people, while there are people at home that we can help instead, that would be much happier and make our life much better?

I wonder.

Sacrifice

Every now and then, I get insomnia. Last night I couldn't sleep.

There are images and images flashing by in front of my eyes, several a second. Some are about things that I remember and know, and some other ones are totally unknown and new (or unknown and old). After a while, it gets boring, they don't let me go to sleep.

So, I ask them to please leave me alone, so I can sleep. But they are too busy with their own problems and issues to listen to me.

And I finally decide to sacrifice them. Sacrifice my bond to them, my connection to them, to the internal fire of life. Let them burn, so the self can live.

It's a sacrifice that I don't know if many people can relate to. I believe that for all the connections we have to things that we don't like, there is some deep reason that we voluntarily keep inside us. Fear is a prime example. We fear being alone. But whenever we ARE alone, we pay extra attention to it. It consumes us, BECAUSE we are afraid of it.

So, I try to sacrifice that connection. Tell myself that deep inside it's not mine, because the impeccable self has no connections like that. It's the self that I know I am, but fail to materialize.

And the night goes on, one sacrifice after the other, one tear after the next.

In the morning, I feel a bit different.

Or, do I?

Fear

We've all been afraid. Fear sometimes is so all-consuming that we don't even stop to find out why we are afraid, what are we afraid of, I mean, what are we *really* afraid of?

Yesterday I realized that many problems are routed to my fear or being along, fear or separation, fear or not being connected. But from what? From God, from Nature, and the natural mother-kid separation at birth that is causing the baby to inhale its first breath.

The realization that we are all connectd, that we are all part of the same Mother, that nurtures us, that takes care of us, is what is going to help us overcome that fear. If the Mother is with us, always, what are we afraid of? Instead of closing up and not knowing how to handle situations, we can overcome that fear, let Her accept us, and let Him guide us to act.

It's a powerful notion. A notion that is always there to help us, but hidden away.

Let's unlock it, and let Nature help us. We are part of it, after all.

Responsibility

I never understodd what it meant to be responsible for someone else's soul until today.

So far it felt that it was the same kind of responsibility that you've had for doing your homework, taking the trash out, and the like.

Now I know.

It means, not to be afraid. Not to be afraid to grab life by the horns and shake the living daylights out of it. Not to be afraid to not only experience your own life to the fullest, but also experience all the ups-and-downs of someone else's life. Take his experiences and his fears like your own, shake them all up, and deliver them ... healed.

It means to love. To love the other person like yourself. Healing comes from that open heart that is able to love without fear, without forders. To love without reservation and without limits.

It means respect. Respect the other person like yourself. Respect with unconditional love, and with the power that will make the other person heal, heal by opening their heard to you in return.

Bless you all.

Full Moon

It's a couple of days after the full moon. This time there was a lunar eclipse. I was curious to see what would happen.

The period before the full moon (the first half of the lunar month, to be exact, from new moon to full moon) was pretty exciting. I found a lot of things about myself, so I wondered. Now, that the full moon has passed, how would the second half unfold?

There always seems to be a change of energy around both the new and the full moon. After the full moon it's like the winter, introspection and negativity are more profound, and after the new moon, like spring and summer, there is more outgoing and constructive energy.

The first couple of days after this full moon have already shown their character. It's like a blanket has covered my emotions and the contact with my real self is muddled. This is yet another opportunity to find what is that cover and how to remove it. An opportunity to get closer to my inner self and be true to it.

Let it start!

I've been struggling a lot about starting this blog. I've been going constantly back and forth inside, wondering if I should start writing about what I feel, and what I find out about myself on a daily basis.

I'd like to write about many things. Many times I've wished I had a forum where I can write something, and I wished that somebody, somewhere, will be able to read this, and realize something about themselves too. I don't like finding things out just for myself. Sharing is very important to me.

I put a lot of effort daily to improve myself. Question everything, every decision I make, every posture I take, whether it is something that will help me out in the future, or come back and bite me sooner or later. I don't consider actions right or wrong, but rather helpful or not in the long run.

Constantly I'm trying to find out other ways that I can look at the world, that will invalidate assumptions that I make. That way, perhaps, I can learn something new, and avoid making other assumptions that I will have to invalidate again and again.

The future is bright, yes, but YOU have to light your own path. YOUR energy will do it, nobody elses. Just find the courage to dig deep inside and find that energy.
