We're usually stuck between desires and fears:
Desires are pushing us towards doing things we don't necessarily need,
Fears are sinks that trap energy away from things we may need.
Shyness is when we have desires that fears don't let us fulfill.
Anger is when we cover up our fears with desires.
Regret is when unfulfilled desires accumulate and haunt us.
The solution is twofold:
Work on lowering desires, and work on lowering fears.
Both have to do with stepping out of your comfort zone for something new, something to expand your horizons.
