As kids, we are taught to repeat things in order to learn.
Learning new things is good; therefore repetition is good.
And we do things over
and over
and over
and over.
Until we learn.
As adults, we end up doing the same thing.
Later on, we realize that we are stuck repeating the same mistakes, over
and over
and over
and over.
Are we going to learn any better by repeating them?
Please,
let's break free of the mold.
Let's not repeat our mistakes.
Let's learn that sometimes once is enough.
We live this life only ONCE.

Mind expansion exercise
Take a look at your partner, and your kids.
Take a look at your friends, and their kids.
Think how two totally separate souls joined together to form another...
...and then think how all of these souls share this planet.
Now try to imagine that you are one of those souls...
...created from two other souls, and joining another for the sake of your kids.
Do you feel like a drop in the ocean?
Do you feel like the wind in the trees?
Do you feel like a breath in God's breath?
Take a look at your friends, and their kids.

...and then think how all of these souls share this planet.

Do you feel like a breath in God's breath?

Choices
Most of us take things in without questioning. We are used to living
day by day reacting to everything that the world throws our way
without stopping to think "why?"
day by day reacting to everything that the world throws our way
without stopping to think "why?"
In fact, we have a choice. We have a choice to do things our "usual"
way, or sit and ponder "why am I doing this?" "do I really have a
choice?"
Most of the times we actually do. We are I stuck to our usual
behavioral patterns that we fail to see the alternatives, but they do
exist.
Just remember, "there's always a choice!" Where there is God there is
a choice, where there is a choice you can find God and honor him for
letting you have this choice.
