Enlightenment

There is no choice!
You WILL get enlightened. It is just a matter of time.
All you have to do is admit to this fact.
Then your life will be easier.

InBetween

No matter what your religion or your faith,
the truth is somewhere inbetween.

Spirituality

Spirituality is what's left when everything that you hold on to, is not there anymore.

Wheel of karma

In the stillness lies the drama of a thousand suns.
In the peak of activity lies the peacefulness of the ocean depths.

Breath

The feminine usually showcases the accepting nature of things, while
the masculine is the opposite. Cavities, spaces, and anything able to
enclose is more feminine in that sense. Energies tend to accumulate
there because they find a nurturing area.

In that sense the universe is female, since it can nurture the growth
of galaxies, solar systems, etc. Finally, we have a male form, since
we exist on the context of the earth and the universe, in general.

It is quite normal for our society to be engulfed in male stereotypes;
we are basically expressing the male energies expressed through us.

But we also have female aspects. Our mouth, nose and internal
cavities all are female aspects. And our breath is a way to get in
touch with our female part. In fact, the breath is a perfect mix of
male and female energies: The action of breathing into the lung
cavities.

We cab learn to balance those energies simply by watching our breath.

Time

Every sad or every happy event is a point in time. A point in time
that passes never to come back again.

True happiness, is eternal, and hence not bound to time. All the
events that happen in your life don't make you happy or sad. You're
either happy or sad doing them, outside of time.

So, choose to be happy, and not let your happiness be bounded to the
moment.

Be happy because you are not bound by time.

On Life with Kids

At some point in your life, you will leave your parents and go live by your own. Life is never going to be the same after that.

At another point in your life, you'll have kids of your own. Life, also, is not going to be the same after that.

There is the time between these two points where you think you are free. What you're actually doing is preparing yourself to have kids.

But you realize that after you have kids.

It's always the right time to unlearn the things that people are teaching you, so that you can learn them for yourself.
When you have kids, this is doubly important: You want to teach them your values, not your parent's. The values that you've figured out for yourself. What you are teaching them then is not the values, but how to live so that they can come up with their own.

Self-realization

There is really no excuse for not get enlightened.

We've all been bickering about, being involved in the mundane things in life, and failing to understand that self-realization is actually helping us be a better version of ourselves, instead of taking us away from life.

There is nothing to be afraid of. In fact, there is no fear.
There is always time to improve yourself.
There are infinite possibilities for self-improvement. In fact, things will be easier, since you would know what's good for you, instead of spending energy trying to find out.

So, don't be afraid. Jump right in; the water is welcoming you!

Faces of God

A seeker seeks God everywhere.
In the beauty of a flower,
in the desperation of a sick man,
in the delirium of happiness.

Where God is found is irrelevant; all are faces of God.
A seeker would seek all these faces of God, no matter how repulsive or beautiful;
for all are faces of the same God.

The joy of finding God in everything overpowers any other feeling,
positive OR negative.

Am I OK?

There's nothing wrong with you!

If you believe there is, then you will spend all your life looking for it; all you will find is empty promises.

Healing

How can I be healed, when you are sick?
How can I turn away, when you suffer?
How can I sit and observe, when we are all One?

We are all one.
When I don't sympathize with you, I am limiting myself. I am giving up the oneness with all.
It is like not feeling the pain of a broken limb, ignoring the blood oozing from my body.

Please hear me, feel the oneness, get healed,
and I will heal myself in you!

Somebody else's life

Ever woken up and realized that this is not your life?
That you are living one huge illusion?
That this is not what you are supposed to do?

Or was that thought itself the illusion?

Life & Death

When you are surrendered by death, you see death.
When you are surrendered by life, you see life.

The trick is...
When you are surrendered by death, to see life.

Freedom

Freedom comes from the decision (our decision) to not be slaves to our own thoughts.

It is about being slaves to our own thoughts of following our family, our parents, our country's and our racial ideals, our taboos. Being free from that slavery does not mean cut all of our relationship from them. Rather it means having the freedom to realize what is right and what is wrong, and freedom to decide what to internalize and what to reject.

Quite common we are afraid to release ourselves from slavery because we are so used to the comfort of being slaves. Along with freedom comes responsibility, though. Yes it's more difficult being free, but that's how we grow up, that's how we stop being kids that follow their parents.

Ego and Passion

Be careful of the ego; it can hide valuable stuff!

For example, the ego of self-importance can hide the passion for life.
You may be fighting for your pecking order in life, and hide your love for it.

Be careful of directed passion! The only passion that is positive is the "passion with no attachment" of the Peruvian shamans. It's the undirected passion, the passion for everything that is alive, that is life!
